Of course it was Pierre Toulet, grandfather of PJ, who built the Villa Mauricia, and not Bernard-Gaston, his (PJ's) father, as I claimed in my previous post.
Prof. Daniel Aranjo has visited the house just yesterday, and kindly advised me as follows:
Je suis passé à la villa Mauricia ; non loin de chez moi. J'ignorais cet incendie. Figurez-vous ! Cela a bien brûlé ; mais la tourelle Belle Empoque n'a pas été détruite.
